MedRise · UCAT · GAMSAT · Bond Psychometric
Launching October 20th…
UCAT · GAMSAT · Bond Psychometric
MedRise covers the four UCAT sections, the three GAMSAT sections and the four Bond Psychometric components. Practise section by section, or sit full-length timed mocks with automatic section transitions. After each question you get a written breakdown of why the correct option works and every distractor fails.
UCAT sections
Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning, Situational Judgement
GAMSAT sections
Humanities, Written Communication, Reasoning in Biological and Physical Sciences
Bond components
Situational Judgement, Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning
MedRise is not a re-skin of somebody else's course. Every question, explanation, mock exam and screen in the platform was written and built in-house over roughly eight months of full-time work by a small team of students who sat these exams themselves. That is why we can be specific about what is inside — the four UCAT sections, the three GAMSAT sections and the four Bond Psychometric components — and why nothing on this page claims more than we can show you.
Accuracy is checked rather than asserted:
No outcome is promised. MedRise is a preparation tool — it does not guarantee a test score or an offer of admission — and that restraint is deliberate: the honest measure of a prep platform is the accuracy of what it teaches, not a headline number.
The commercial side is deliberately plain. Every limit on every plan is published in the comparison table below, there is no auto-renewal trap, monthly plans carry a 7-day cancellation guarantee, and the refund policy is written in plain English. Your practice data and results belong to you: they are never sold, and you can delete your account and everything in it whenever you want.
MedRise supports all three major Australian medicine admissions exams. Choose your path and start preparing today.

Eight things the platform does, and what each one is for.
Written and explained practice for UCAT, GAMSAT and Bond, each question with a full breakdown of why the correct option works and why each distractor fails. The bank grows as new questions are approved, and the adaptive mock engine writes fresh ones on the spot, so there is never a shortage of unseen practice.
Every question in the bank comes with a written breakdown of why the correct option works and why each distractor fails. Nothing is left on "check the textbook".
UCAT, GAMSAT and Bond mocks run under exam timing with automatic section transitions, so you practise the clock as well as the content.
Submit an essay and get it assessed on argument quality, evidence, clarity and language, returned with a band estimate out of 100.
Accuracy and average time are tracked for each section, so you can see which of the four UCAT sections is actually costing you marks.
Question difficulty follows your recent answers in that section, so you keep working at the edge of what you can currently do.
Questions you get wrong return on a spaced schedule until you have answered them correctly, rather than being seen once and forgotten.
Enter a mock or official score and MedRise ranks your section gaps by size and projects where your score lands if you close them.
A day-by-day plan generated from your imported scores, with each session sized to the number of hours you can actually give it.
Advanced analytics
MedRise is not a bigger question bank. It is a more precise diagnostic tool: the questions exist to produce the diagnosis, and the diagnosis is what moves the score.
Most analytics need a crowd: thousands of students answering the same question before the numbers mean anything. MedRise reads the structure of the papers instead — the scaled distributions, the published seconds per question, the skills each question type tests — and measures your own answers against it. Every diagnostic below works from the first sitting you complete, on your own data alone, with no waiting for a review to be written.
Every question carries a difficulty weight, so MedRise estimates your ability from the pattern of your right and wrong answers and projects it onto the exam’s scaled distribution. UCAT cognitive subtests are reported on the real 300–900 scale with a range either side, SJT as a band estimate, and the cognitive total out of 2700 — instead of a percentage that means nothing on test day.
Each answer is plotted against the section’s published seconds per question, which sorts every answer into one of four quadrants: mastered, needs efficiency, rushed or careless, and blind spot. It shows whether marks are being lost to seconds or to content, because those two problems need opposite fixes.
Questions are tagged by the skill they test, so mastery is reported per micro-topic — syllogism logic, Venn and set logic, data tables, passage comprehension, argument analysis — rather than as a single verdict on a whole section.
Accuracy is measured across the first, middle and final third of a sitting alongside average time per question. If accuracy falls fifteen points or more while the question difficulty stays level, MedRise reports fatigue rather than a knowledge gap — and if the late questions were genuinely harder, it says that instead.
A correct answer given in under three seconds is faster than the question can be read. Those answers are flagged and removed from your mastery figures, so a lucky run never reads as knowledge and your score report stays honest.
Scaled scores, percentiles and bands produced by MedRise are simulations built on the published structure of each exam. They are study guidance, not an official UCAT ANZ, ACER or Bond University result.
